
Oxana began her musical career at the age of seven. A native of Russia, she holds her music degrees from the Nizhny Novgorod Music College, studio of Elizaveta Liogonkaya, and Glinka State Conservatory in Nizhny Novgorod, studios of Olga Lysova (Piano Performance), Leonid Shmukler (Chamber Music), and Svetlana Vinogradova (Collaborative Piano). During her studies, Oxana played many solo and chamber music recitals and was a prize winner at the Balakirev All-Russian Piano Competition in 1996.
Oxana moved to the US in 2010, where she completed her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the University of Northern Iowa, studio of Dmitri Vorobiev and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy with Christopher Taylor (Piano Performance) and Jessica Johnson (Pedagogy) at UW-Madison. Oxana regularly appeared with solo performances at the UW-Madison School of Music and other Madison venues. She is a winner of UW-Madison 29th Beethoven Competition in 2014 and 2016. During her studies, Oxana was a teaching assistant at the UW-Madison School of Music, piano instructor at the Piano Pioneers program, and Farley’s House of Pianos.
Currently, Oxana lives in Menomonie, Wisconsin with her family. She enjoys performing at local venues and teaching music to students of any levels and ages.
